My first must have item is a good hot glue gun. I have this one, the Surebonder CL-800F 60-Watt Cordless High Temperature Glue Gun, and it’s great because it’s cordless!!! Yes, cordless! It is a high temp so make sure you get them the high temp glue sticks too!
My next go to hot glue gun is the super low temp, AdTech Ultra Low-Temp Cool Tool . This hot glue gun is just hot enough to heat the glue, but not burn your finger tips off!! it’s great for those small gluing jobs, when working with thin materials and small areas where your fingers get close to the glue. Remember to stock them up with some super low temp mini glue sticks!
While we are on the subject of hot glue a great accessory to the glue gun is the Silicone Finger Guards. Theses awesome little things will save those fingers from hot glue burns! You just have to remember to use them, I’m not very good at that part!!
Next on the list is a good pair of scissors, not don’t panic! You don’t have to go broke on these! This is the best deal you will find on these awesome Fiskars Premier Easy Action Bent Scissors. These are the easiest to use especially if you do a lot of cutting or suffer from arthritis or other conditions that make using your hands in a repetitive motion difficult.
Another great tool is the Titan 11412 7-1/2″ Compound Diagonal Cutter. These will cover all the needs your crafter or DIY’er cold need from cutting wire, paint stir sticks and so much more. These are easy on the hands while packing a lot of cutting power.
